UVA Spanish, Italian & Portuguese
BA21 was hired to redesign the UVA Department of Spanish, Italian and Portuguese in October 2007. More than one year later, the site is live.
Piedmont Council of the Arts
BA21 launched an exciting new website for Piedmont Council of the Arts. Maggie and Kate were a blast to work with, and the site came out better than any of us expected.
Landers Underwriting

Launched: April 24, 2008
Harry Landers contacted BA21 on a referral from his son Waldo. Waldo is a long-time Charlottesville web developer. Waldo created the first Landers' website many years ago, and just didn't have time to redesign it when it became outdated.
This was a fun project to work on. I especially enjoyed figuring out a solution for the hundred's of PDF downloadable forms that the Underwriting firm offers their clients. The site is simple, clean, and clear.
Spark!
In partnership with Alloy Workshop, BA21 launched a Charlottesville Community Design Center initiative:
Spark! - Charlottesville's resource for tackling energy efficiency
StreamWatch
This was another successful redesign for a Charlottesville non-profit. Some really great new features include:
- YouTube video embeded on the site
- Custom Google Map application (drawing data from a hosted database by DabbleDB)
- Regularly Updated Blogs
Rose and John are thrilled with their new site, and have been making edits and new posts on a regular basis since launch.
